What People Say...
I booked this B&B for myself and my two chilren (aged 21 an 16) from the website. I took the roomy double room with beautiful views over the Staffordshire countryside and the children had the twin room next door. We had our own entrance from the courtyard so were very private. Both rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated with sumptious towels, gowns, bedding with cushions. The rooms and shower rooms (one a spacious wet-room) were spotless and shampoo, bodywash and bodylotion was provided and not in those silly little sachets. The tea tray included fresh ground coffee as well as the usual tea, instant coffee and chocolate, as well as fresh milk. Jayne the owner was extremely welcoming, offering tea and other drinks on our arrival. Breakfast was extraordinary - the choice included smoked salmon and bagels as well as the usual fayre (locally sourced and delicious) and was indiviually cooked and served to the highest standard with jams and butter served in little dishes rather than packets. I cannot rate this establishment highly enough and it would be worth making a considerable detour for, e.g. from the M6.
